Character Forms

Approval Process

• First, copy and paste the corresponding form into a new topic.
  
• Fill it out.
  
• An admin or moderator will check over it and tell you what needs fixed. Each time you edit, comment that you have done so. This process may repeat several times.
  
• Once it is approved, it will be moved into the approved section and you may RP with that character.
  
• Every new member starts out with 6 available character slots to use. After 6 are used up, you must buy more from the site shop. If you wish to get rid of a character, simply erase them out of your signature, have them leave camp, kill them off, etc.

Power Limitations
-This site aims on being lax with powers. Do not abuse this cushion or else the Gods will be angry.
-We base the level of creative free-range on literacy, experience, and attitude.
-To make this site run smoothly and to free up any drama, we do have (some) limitations on powers. We ask that for any power you give your character, you give them limits, whether it be broad or strict. For example, how long they can sustain this power, to what magnitude can they use their power, can this power be resisted by any means. These characters are still half human, so they're not going to be lifting buildings or destroying city blocks. For children of Hecate, who often have witchcraft as their ability, we ask that you limit the amount of spells they can do per day. When it comes to limiting, you can do this via amount per topic/post or how many posts it takes for cooldown OR you can do it in a real world time frame, i.e. amount of times per day.
-There are some powers that we just do not allow. We do not allow future seeing, due to the fact that this is something special to the oracle, and in a way the augur of Rome.
-Charmspeak is allowed, however we as admins have a right to revoke this if anyone abuses it. Charmspeak MAY NOT be used on another player character without that author's strict permission. This also extends to any other mind control like powers.
-Shapeshifting is allowed for certain gods (ex. Hecate) as long as it is into animals and other gods. Sorry, no transforming into a demon and dragging other characters to the depths of Hell.
-If we feel like you are abusing the powers, the gods will take them away. It will probably be painful.

Other Limitations
-All campers have to be in camp by their 13th birthday, barring extreme/unusual cases. The gods made a pact at the end of the PJO series to, and we would expect them to follow through.
-We try to keep characters on this site grounded in reality. This being said, characters should look human. Hair and eye colors can only be colors found in humans (no, purple eyes do not exist). For pets, we allow anything that a person in the United States can reasonably acquire without a special license. This means pets like lions, tigers, and bears (oh my) are not allowed. If you wish to have an exotic pet, feel free to purchase one in the site shop for 1,000 coins. You will be asked to provide a reasonable explanation onto how your character acquired this pet. (if its a gift from a god parent you will have to pay the additional 2,500 coins). We also do not allow characters to have contact with their gods before they reach camp. The gods are very flighty creatures, and they don't like to hang around families for that long. They can only stay for up to around 6 months after a character is born.  

Finally, we have the right to add to and modify these rules as we see fit.
