Site Summary and Regulations

At Camp Half-Blood (CHB), Greek demigods are enrolled by the age of 13. They have one god parent and one mortal parent, and are usually found by a half-man halfgoat creature know as a satyr, who appear half of their actual age. At CHB, there are two main guys are in charge, both of which live in the Big House. These men are the immortal centaur known as Chiron, and the god of wine himself, Dionysus, also known as Mr. D. Mr. D was sentenced as the camp instructor for life as a punishment from the gods. Demigods stay in their corresponding cabin with those like them, usually their half-siblings. Each of the 28 main cabins (the 29th is just meant as a place for Roman demigods to stay during visit) have a cabin leader, who is in charge. They are appointed by Chiron or Mr. D. Demigods have very distant relationships with their god parent. On the flip side, a demigod can get permission at anytime to leave the camp and visit family. Campers are either summer-campers, meaning they only stay in the summer and return home for the rest of the year, or year-rounders, meaning that they take educational classes at the camp during school years. After graduating, a Greek demigod may enroll in New Rome University in the Roman camp, Camp Jupiter. Demigods can visit Camp Jupiter at any time. Demigods are not advised to use technology out of either camp's boundaries, because it can attract monsters. CHB often hosts games to test the grit of their campers, such as Capture the Flag. Demigods are expected to work hard and train. Greeks use Celestial Bronze metal, or the Underworld-derived gods' kids may use Stygian Iron.

Life is much different here at Camp Jupiter (CJ) for the Romans. First off, satyrs aren't prominent, and instead, they are trained by the great she-wolf Lupa. After training with her, they are put in camp, where they are trained in a much more hardcore fashion then the Greeks. Romans have demigods, legacies (grandchildren or further of the gods), sometimes a mix of the two. Romans also provide a home to any mortal related to the campers, and have no set date when to leave. The Romans have a city, New Rome, about the size of Chicago, where all of these people can live. There are residential districts, shops, restaurants, all that you can imagine. Roman demigods and legacies are enrolled in the Legion as soon as they enter camp, or if they already live there, after they are trained by Lupa. The Legion is the Roman military force, made up of campers, which is required to be a part of for at least 10 years. They are split into 5 cohorts, based on the recommendation letters from any other Romans and Lupa, 1st Cohort being where the best recommendation letters belong, 5th the "worst" or no recommendation letters at all. Each cohort has two Centurions, the guys in charge, and two Optios, which are second-in-command and fill in for the Centurion if needed. The ten Centurions (5 cohorts, 2 in each) make up the Senate. The Senate, along with the two Praetors, the people in charge of camp, make the decisions for the camp. The Praetor is a prestigious position, getting to oversee the entire camp. In our universe, the Praetors are going to be a man of the name Clayton Seripactus, a 19 year old male who is the son of Mars, and Lily Hivens, a 20 year old female who is the daughter of Apollo and legacy of Mercury. They will be NPCs that the admins/mods will RP if necessary. After the 10 years in the Legion (during which public education is free to the campers), the campers can enroll in New Rome University, or find another job, or retire, etc. They live normal lives from then on. Greeks are welcome, as mentioned before. Romans use Imperial Gold metal, or the Underworld-derived gods' kids may use Stygian Iron.
